DESCRIPTION:Learn about the Spitzer School's post-professional program for 
 students with architecture or landscape architecture backgrounds: Urban D
 esign (Master of Urban Planning aka MUPUD). This session will include a we
 lcome by Dean Marta Gutman\, a program overview by Professor Julio Salced
 o-Fernandez\, discussion including Yuriko Jewett UD '18 and Amy Ho B Arch 
 '24 UD '25\, and Q&amp\;A.\nThis is a virtual event\, taking place on Zoom
 .\n‌\nThe Urban Design program is centered on participatory urbanism\, t
 he premise that only a combination of leadership\, technical\, and design 
 skills will lead to meaningful change in the way we think\, plan\, and con
 struct our built environments. Building on the leadership of the late Mic
 hael Sorkin\, the program is specifically designed to foster new conversat
 ions in response to our urbanized planetary crises and provide transformat
 ive alternatives that radically reimagine our cities as equitable\, divers
 e\, resourceful\, and ecologically nimble.\n‌\nADMISSIONS\nOur next prio
