This evening event will include studio visits\, a welcome by Dean Mar ta Gutman\, a program overview by Program Director Jennifer Birkeland\, a n admissions overview by Hannah Borgeson\, a panel discussion with Q&\ ;A with current students and alumni\, and an opportunity for feedback on y our portfolio materials.\n\n\nThe Master of Landscape Architecture program prepares students to be leaders in the field through innovative research and practice in urban ecological design\, planning\, and policymaking. The program aims to reimagine and rethink the profession’s current and futu re challenges through the lenses of social\, environmental\, and multi-spe cies justice\, including rapid urbanization\, resource extraction and mana gement\, the interface of nature and technology\, ongoing species extincti ons\, and the climate emergency.\n\n\n Duration: Three years\, full time\ , 90 credits.\n Curriculum: First is a foundation year of skill-building\ , followed by four more semesters of research seminars + studios\, upper-l evel required classes\, and electives.\n\nThis program is STEM designated and LAAB accredited.\n\n\nAdmissions\nThis program is open to students who hold any type of undergraduate degree.
