DESCRIPTION:Introduction: Catherine Seavitt Nordenson\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDan and
  Marie Law Adams are the founding partners of Landing Studio\, an architec
 ture\, design\, and research practice whose work negotiates the intersecti
 on of large scale global infrastructure with urban environments. Since 200
 5\, Landing Studio has developed projects with port facilities and transit
  infrastructure entities in Boston and New York by designing shared indust
 rial and public access landscapes\, light installations\, festivals\, exhi
 bitions\, tours\, and industrial/community operations agreements. Landing 
 Studio received a Progressive Architecture award for the Rock Chapel Marin
 e project in 2013\, the Architectural League Prize in 2015\, and they were
  a winner of the Design Biennial Boston in 2015.\n\nDan Adams holds a Bach
 elor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan\, and a Ma
 ster’s degree in Architecture from Harvard University\, where he receive
 d the AIA Medal and Kelly Thesis Prize\, as well as the Druker Research Fe
 llowship for ongoing research in the global production and transport of sa
 lt.\n\nMarie Law Adams is a licensed architect and received a Bachelor’s
  degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Master’s d
 egree in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology\, whe
 re she was a Presidential Fellow and recipient of the AIA Medal.\n\nAll le
 ctures are free\, open to the public\, and held at 6:30 pm in the Bernard 
 and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture Sciame Auditorium. Continuing Educ
