DESCRIPTION:Intro: Michael Sorkin\, Distinguished Professor\, Director of U
 rban Design\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAshley Dawson is currently the Currie C. and Tho
 mas A. Barron Visiting Professor in the Environment and the Humanities at 
 the Princeton Environmental Institute. He is the author of Extinction: A 
 Radical History (O/R Press\, 2016)\, as well as numerous other books and 
 essay collections. Dawson recently finished writing a book entitled Extre
 me Cities: The Peril and Promise of Urban Life in the Age of Climate Chang
 e for Verso Books (out in October) and is currently working on Dual Po
 wer: A Handbook for Energy Revolution\, a book about global movements res
 isting extreme extraction and fighting for energy democracy in an age of p
 olitical reaction.\n\nSelected Bibliography: Fall 2017 Lecture Series:
