 NAAB-accredited professional degree that is open to students from all unde
 rgraduate backgrounds.\n\n 	Duration: Three years\, full time\, 90 credits
 .\n 	Curriculum: First is a foundation year of skill-building\, followed b
 y four more semesters of research seminars + studios\, upper-level require
 d classes\, and electives.\n\n‌\n\nOur Master of Science in Architectur
 e program is directed at students who already hold a five-year\, accredit
 ed Bachelor of Architecture degree and who wish to deepen their design abi
 lities and expand their knowledge of contemporary theory\, social practice
 \, technology\, and environmental systems.\n\n 	Duration: 1 1/2 years (3 s
 emesters)\, full time\, 48 credits\, or longer with a lighter courseload e
 ach semester\n 	Curriculum: Students take a research seminar + studio each
  semester and round out their studies by choosing from a number of electiv
 e courses. Open-ended and flexible in many respects\, the program does hav
 e certain priorities: interdisciplinarity\, the city as a learning lab\, e
 xperimental learning\, and social engagement.\n\n‌True to the unique spi
 rit of New York City\, our studio network offers dynamic core training wit
 h many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and partnership w
 ith our graduate landscape architecture and urban design students. Our Mas
 ter of Science in Urban Sustainability and J. Max Bond Center for Urban Fu
 tures affiliated programs lend expertise and focus across the curriculum.\
 n\n‌\nAdmissions\nAll undergraduate backgrounds welcome in the M Arch I\
 ; its prerequisites are one semester of both college-level precalculus and
  physics.\n\nMS Arch applicants should hold a five-year\, NAAB-accredited 
 Bachelor of Architecture degree or the international equivalent.\n\nOur ne
 xt deadline is in January 2025 to begin studies in Fall 2025. Please see i

 ditation\nThe Master of Architecture I program is NAAB-accredited. See the
  accreditation section of this site for more information and links regardi
 ng accreditation.\n\nNAAB does not offer accreditation for master of sci

 the M Arch I and MS Arch programs are listed within the U.S. government’
 s official STEM fields list and are therefore eligible for the STEM OPT ex
