 ter of Architecture program is a NAAB-accredited professional degree that 
 is open to students from all undergraduate backgrounds.\n\n 	Duration: Thr
 ee years\, full time\, 90 credits.\n 	Curriculum: First is a foundation ye
 ar of skill-building\, followed by four more semesters of research seminar
 s + studios\, upper-level required classes\, and electives.\n\n‌\n\nOur
  Master of Science in Architecture program is directed at students who a
 lready hold a five-year\, accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree and w
 ho wish to deepen their design abilities and expand their knowledge of con
 temporary theory\, social practice\, technology\, and environmental system
 s.\n\n 	Duration: 1 1/2 years (3 semesters)\, full time\, 48 credits\, or 
 longer with a lighter courseload each semester\n 	Curriculum: Students tak
 e a research seminar + studio each semester and round out their studies by
  choosing from a number of elective courses. Open-ended and flexible in ma
 ny respects\, the program does have certain priorities: interdisciplinarit
 y\, the city as a learning lab\, experimental learning\, and social engage
 ment.\n\n‌True to the unique spirit of New York City\, our studio networ
 k offers dynamic core training with many opportunities for interdisciplina
 ry collaboration and partnership with our graduate landscape architecture 
 and urban design students. Our Master of Science in Urban Sustainability a
 nd J. Max Bond Center for Urban Futures affiliated programs lend expertise
  and focus across the curriculum.\n\n‌\nAdmissions\nAll undergraduate ba
 ckgrounds welcome in the M Arch I\; its prerequisites are one semester of 
 both college-level precalculus and physics.\n\nMS Arch applicants should h
 old a five-year\, NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree or the i
 nternational equivalent.\n\nOur next deadline is in January 2025 to begin

 rogram is accredited. See the accreditation section of this site for more 
 information and links regarding accreditation.\n\nNAAB does not offer ac
 creditation for master of science programs such as our MS Arch program.\n\
 n‌\nSTEM Designation\nBoth the M Arch I and MS Arch programs are listed 
 within the U.S. government’s official STEM fields list and are therefore
