DESCRIPTION:Elisabetta Terragni\, a graduate of the Milan Polytechnic\, is 
 principal of her studio in Como (Italy) and a recently tenured faculty mem
 ber at CCNY. She has taught studios and seminars at universities in German
 y\, Italy\, Switzerland\, and the U.S. Her studio seeks sensitive solution
 s for everyday situations and inventive transformations of industrial and 
 obsolete sites. Her work is included in major international exhibitions\, 
 museum collections\, and widely published in architecture journals.\n\nHer
  research and development process involves multiple domains of expertise t
 hat come together to address pressing needs. She has crafted a number of e
 xhibition sites from abandoned infrastructures or industrial venues. Her t
 eam’s international character and experience in devising innovative solu
 tions to unconventional problems place it at the forefront of contemporary
  work in emerging domains of transdisciplinary design practice.
