 2018​ M Arch housing studios with the book launches for KatOkia\, by Lou
 kia Tsafoulia\, and City X\, by Martin Stigsgaard. A panel discussion will
  feature CetraRuddy\, James Wines\, ShoP Architects\, and Nandini Bagchee.

 cture alumnus\, and Nancy J. Ruddy\, together with Master of Architecture 
 faculty at the Spitzer School\, the CetraRuddy Design Studio in Housing st
 arted in Spring 2017 and extended for five semesters. Goals included bridg
 ing academia and practice\, building on a shared ambition to address the c
 hallenges and opportunities associated with housing design in New York Cit
 y. CetraRuddy’s generous contribution of knowledge\, time\, and resource
 s deepened student engagement with the issue of housing in New York City\,
  and more broadly\, expanded their horizons as aspiring young professional
 s. The studios focused on the design of multi-unit housing\, a core area o
 f architectural design and practice.\n\n&nbsp\;
